Hp 842c driver winme

Verify that the "hp deskjet c series" is present. Note: There may be more than one printer with "c" in the name. Make sure the HP printer with driver with "series" in the name has a Check Mark next to it, indicating it is the default printer. To make a printer the default printer, right click on the printer name and select "Set as Default Printer".

I have even tried connecting to different ports I have 5 of them still no luck Just curious -- did you open the computer up recently?

I just want to know if there could be a possible "loose wiring". Try this: Unplug the USB cable from the computer. Uninstall the HP printer driver. Reboot computer. Install the new printer driver without the USB cable plugged in.
